ボゾ族は“水の民”とも呼ばれ、漁業とともに暮らしてきた民族として知られています。
魚は生活に密接に関わる存在であり、豊かさや循環を象徴するモチーフとして造形にも取り入れられてきました。

本作は、地元で採れる広葉樹を用い、手作業で彫り出された一点もの。
滑らかなフォルムの中にわずかな歪みや削り跡が残り、手仕事ならではの温かみを感じられる仕上がりです。
色ムラや小さな擦れも含め、量産品にはない個体としての魅力を備えています。

一般的な多色彩のボゾフィッシュとは異なり、本作は黒と木地のコントラストを基調とした落ち着いた配色。
