この小さな村では、何世紀にもわたり独自の陶器づくりの技法が受け継がれてきました。本作はその伝統から生まれたタムグルート陶器であり、モロッコ工芸の象徴的な存在として知られています。

最大の特徴は、伝統的な陶器でありながら彫刻のような有機的フォルムを持つ造形です。
中央に空洞を持ち、二股に分かれる曲線のラインは、植物のつるや風に削られた岩肌、あるいは自然の造形物を思わせる静かな生命感を宿しています。工芸品でありながらアートオブジェのような存在感を持つデザインです。

この曲線と陰影は、光の当たり方によって印象が変化します。

この色は、モロッコの先住民族である ベルベル人（アマジグ） の文化とも深く結びついています。

This sculptural ceramic vase is handcrafted in Tamegroute, a historic village located at the edge of the Sahara Desert in southern Morocco. Renowned for its centuries-old pottery tradition, Tamegroute is home to one of the few places in the world where this unique green glaze—known as "Tamegroute Green" or "Berber Green"—is still produced.

The organic, asymmetrical form of this piece blends primitive elegance with contemporary design. Its double-necked structure and flowing curves evoke natural forms such as climbing vines, eroded rock, or even animal bones—bringing both stillness and a sense of life into the space.

More than just a Moroccan interior accent, this vase embodies the artistic spirit of Modern African design.
