丸みのあるドーナツ型のフォルムと、紫・茶・ピンク・深緑が混ざり合う独特の色合いが特徴。

タムグルート陶器は、現地の粘土と天然釉薬を使い、薪窯で焼成される伝統技法によって作られています。

A One-of-a-Kind Presence – Tamegroute Ceramic Flower Vase

This unique flower vase was born from centuries-old ceramic traditions in Tamegroute, a small village located at the gateway to the Sahara Desert in southern Morocco.

Tamegroute pottery is typically known for its iconic deep green glaze, but this piece stands apart with its rare and captivating blend of purple, brown, pink, and deep green hues.
These striking colors are the result of mineral-rich local clay, a secret glaze recipe passed down through generations, and the unpredictability of traditional wood-fired kilns—each piece emerging with its own unique expression.

The glaze contains natural elements such as copper and manganese oxide, which react during firing depending on factors like temperature, oxygen levels, and kiln placement.

These unexpected chemical reactions create a phenomenon known as yohen—a dramatic and organic transformation of colors that can never be exactly replicated.
This fusion of craftsmanship, instinct, and occasional experimentation leads artisans to continuously explore new expressions and tones.

The modern silhouette, featuring a round, donut-like shape with a central opening, represents the perfect harmony of rustic texture and refined design.
It quietly asserts its presence while adding depth and individuality to any space.
