Tuareg Jewelry

Tuareg jewelry is a form of traditional adornment passed down through generations by the nomadic Tuareg people, who have long lived across the vast regions of the Sahara Desert.

They inhabit countries such as Mali, Niger, Algeria, Libya, and Burkina Faso, and are often referred to as the “Blue People” due to the indigo-dyed garments they wear—particularly the tagelmust, a cloth worn by men—whose dye often stains their skin, giving it a bluish hue.
