中央には楕円形のプレートが配され、放射状に刻まれた線が太陽を思わせる印象的なデザイン。
両側の円形モチーフには、渦状の線と十字の刻印が組み合わされており、これはトゥアレグ族の伝統的な象徴文様で、「旅の守護」や「世界とのつながり」を意味しています。
砂漠で暮らす彼らにとって、これらの記号は方向を示す方位や、見えない絆を形にした祈りのような存在でした。

素材はシルバー。
トゥアレグの銀細工を担う職人階層イナダンによる手彫りの技法が用いられ、鏡面仕上げではなく、サンドブラストのようなマットな質感が特徴です。

彫りの線は一つひとつが異なり、機械的ではない独特のリズムと深みを持っています。
経年により銀表面には自然な黒ずみが生まれ、長い時間を経た金属の柔らかな輝きが漂います。

This vintage silver ring was handcrafted by the Tuareg people, nomads who have lived in harmony with the winds of the Sahara for centuries.

At its center lies an oval plate etched with radiating lines reminiscent of the sun, creating a striking, balanced design. On each side, circular motifs combine spiral lines and engraved crosses—traditional Tuareg symbols representing protection for travelers and connection to the world. For those living in the vast desert, such motifs symbolized direction, guidance, and invisible bonds that tied them to both their land and their ancestors.

Made of silver, the ring showcases the work of the Inadan—the hereditary Tuareg artisans renowned for their intricate metal engraving. Rather than a polished, mirror-like finish, the surface has a subtle matte texture similar to sandblasting, giving it a soft, tactile quality.

Each line of the engraving is unique, carrying an organic rhythm and depth that no machine could replicate.
